Life is full of excitement, sadness, pain and fun.It is a mixture of everything really.
Firstly, before i begin the blog about my holiday i want to congratulate my new auntie and uncle, christina and gavin.
They had their wedding on the 17th of November, and to tell you the truth. It was pretty amazing.
The wedding went smoothly and on the 18th of November, we officially welcomed Gavin into the family by having the traditional Chinese tea ceremony!
I am sure that the two of them will have a great life together! I saw them on Christmas night, and they looked so happy. Gavin has now opened up so much more and Christina is really happy, i am so happy for the both of them.
Now to the ASIA trip of a lifetime.
20th November, i boarded the plane to open a new chapter of my life, it was the journey of seeking answers for questions i just could not find answers for, and to think about the doubts i always had. I will just talk about what happened in each country, not by dates! :)
SINGAPORE.
21st November, 3a.m. i arrived at Changi Budget Terminal.
The feeling of returning was weird, before leaving Perth Airport i said goodbye to my home in a sad way.
I walked around the house more than 10 times to leave a permanent view of my home cemented in my head.
I didn't want to leave because i thought i would be missing all my friends too much.
But once we stepped out of the customs and saw uncle moo and his children waiting for us, i was touched and knew that this trip was to have an amazing impact on me.
We set out for 4am breakfast and the atmosphere and smell of Singapore hit me: I will always miss this place.
But this wasn't what really set me out to really believe that that month of holiday would be worth it.
Approximately 1pm, i met up with an amazing girl that i will never be able to forget and cannot thank her enough.
Met up with tasha at orchard MRT and from there went shopping, took neoprints at cineleisure, and head back down to Tiong. Now, some of you may not know Tiong or what Tiong is. It's a place, a shopping centre & MRT station really.
If you sit there for about a day, you could probably see a soul or two from my primary school!
We went to Tiong for a reason of course, to meet up with my bro, gerald! What changes he has to him..
I will leave for later to say. But yes, that day was amazing. Spent it with my favourite girl, tasha and met up with my gor. The next day was spent at bugis and chinatown later rushing back down to Tiong again to meet up with Gerald and my NCHS primary school mate, Si Hao. We spent P1-P3 together, and i have lost total contact with anyone from NCHS.
I spent Singapore also by meeting my Godmother for the very first time, kaikai mummiiee.
She's amazing! So cute, pretty and caring! She did my nails for me ( which are coming off soon! :( ) and she also gave me a christmas present; a cute mug!
I love it mummiiee! Thank you so so much for everything.
Also did lots of shopping- my love for t-shirts was finally found in Singapore and noticed by tasha.
Also met up with Hector, and met 2 of tasha's friends when we went to kbox! :D
An amazing first time hey, i may not sound the best but the experience was great! :)
Also, i met up with Hui Xin, oh.. she's an amazing girl too. She's still the same really, we get along really well.
Sat down and chatted about the old days and the current phases of our lives, it was truly a good afternoon! :)
CHINA
My trip to Shanghai, Su Zhou, HangZhou, Nanjing, Wu Xi was really interesting.. Many thanks for to our national china guide: xiao ma ge. He was to follow us the whole way through, and was really good and interesting. Nothing much to say here but some thoughts:
I have learn that nature is beauty, looking at china's more outback scenery realy reminded me that nature was enough. Nature is a beauty withnin itself, the more we pollute it with pressure, new minds, thoughts and emotions, the whole thing becomes conjusted and it makes things complicated. Therefore i now believe that nature is beauty.
Things like relationships, friendships are all part of my life and that i cannot live without. To survive, i need to keep these close to my heart, closer than they already are and that is to keep in contact.
And my family, is and will always be the group of people that will always be with me till the end of time and that i shouldn't condemn them at any time.
MALAYSIA.
i have to really admit this holiday is the first time in my LIFE i actually don't want to leave kuala selangor and i cried while leaving. My grandma is really sick, her heart is really weak now and her kidney is deteriorating its strength. Ah Po does not know about her kidney, she thinks its just her heart. We are afraid she will think otherwise if she knew about her kidney which would be horrible.
I hope Ah Po will get better soon, even though the doctor has informed us that her condition is really not good and that we should be prepared to say our final goodbyes to her. She also told us that her heart could just slow down and suddenly stop beating.
Ah Po has always been a grandma who favours her grandchildren, she never differentiate her grandchildren whether they were her daughter's kids or her son's unlike many traditional grandparents. Many favour grandchildren who bear the same surname as they do : their son's kids.
Since I was young, grandma always favoured my eldest auntie's kids. But this time, she showed no favouritism. Also, Ah Po said some really offensive things to my mum: saying how we don't give her enough money etc. But this time, she didn't want the money we gave her, but she had to keep it in the end as dad forced her to keep it. She also bought me a present and became caring towards us. I hope Ah Po's heart will always be as warm as it was.
It was Ah Po's birthday and as a present we organised to get the WHOLE family to kuala selangor .. sadly. eldest auntie came after much persuasion from Ah Po. :l
2nd and youngest auntie came, they are so funny! 3rd missed out and the excuse was her daughter was sick.. :S Anyway, i was stuck to sit on the table with the eldest auntie who i dislike immensely because of the corruption she did, the evil she has and the way she treats us, HER FAMILY.
We had dinner at a popular restaurant in the village which was actually really nice! After that, we headed back to Ah Po's house for photos and cake! Eldest auntie left quite soon, i think it was the result of the offensive words my 2nd auntie was implying and the looks everyone - including the kids, except for her daughters were giving her.
Everyone gave her cold looks, and hard smiles.
After she left, there was even MORE words said about her, and grandma's mood was worsen because she was her favourite daughter. But that didn't stop ANYONE from saying bad things about her.
At my mum's side, nothing much happened.. So not much to blog. But to add a word, people aren't always who they are online and my cousin showed me that. thanks.
TASHA: you deserve the best things in life, you are always willing to take your heart to treat every friend in such a caring way. I saw this through this holiday, you tried to use every opportunity to spend time with me and to make my holiday as enjoyable as it may be. Thank you tasha, i owe you the world. You have such an amazing personality and it is the answer to you have so many friends. Its a regret that i cannot be by your side always to hang out with you, but its these rare times that we will treasure together. I will miss you always, and it hurt me to have to say goodbye to you. But remember, that wasn't a final goodbye, it's a goodbye just for now. I will see you soon, i am CERTAIN. Stay strong, and i will always be with you, in spirit and in soul. I will always have your back, and you should ought to know that.
KAIKAI MUMMIIEE: mummiiee! i met you for the first time! i recognised you easily and was so happy to meet you! Too bad we didn't take any photos, BUT next time i see you, we will take photos! GERALD: Biggest change i saw in you was the way you care for your looks now! I am not saying that you didn't before, but you cretainly take a lot more pride in your looks! He styled his hair and dressed up because we were taking photos! XD hehe, thanks gor. Oh, and thanks for the paper flower you made me... It's somewhere... haha. HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY. :D
HUI XIN: i spent the least time with you! But it was okay, i got to have chats with you and they were good! Miss Blur Queen is you! HAHA, no no, i miss you lots. You have such a sweet and caring nature that no one will be able to replace, don't ever change who you are and always have confidence in yourself! Guys are probably running after you and you don't know it! i will miss you, and you must take care of yourself! Don't shower yourself with too much stress! Enjoy life and look straight ahead!
HECTOR: mr. hector tan.. more like MR. LATE TAN. He was very late.. but he had floorball training, so i guess we could forgive him. Haha, he didn't know what to write to me so that also took ages to write! But i guess it was ... worth it? Just to make it sound nice, hah. It was nice seeing him again.. not much to say about you hey... HAHAH, take care. :)
SI HAO: haha, my NCHS school mate! wow, i cannot believe what fate has brought us. Though we were pretty shy.. didn't talk much, thanks for coming out to meet me; it does mean a lot to me. Hopefully we can become better of friends through the internet so next time IF i do meet you again it won't be as awkward. :) Take care.
i love you all really.
